Moonbrook Arts                    Presenting a new look in slate art!

Moonbrook Arts has been producing fine art on slate since 1988. We have worked hard at producing a slate product that is finely detailed and attractive. Each piece of slate from the main catalog measures approximately 9.5 inches by 15 inches. The dog slates measure approximately 9 inches by 11.5 inches. The print is taken from an original painting owned by Moonbrook Arts. The corners of the piece are slightly cropped for appearance's sake. A coat of varnish is applied to the slate, making the finished product a beautiful work of art, worthy of hanging in any room in your home.

The slates have been taken from the rooftops of homes and churches, and date back to the 1800's. Each slate has it's own unique characteristics as a result of many years of weathering. They are a keepsake from the rooftops of yesteryear, and a remembrance of a by - gone era. Although a protective coating has been applied to each slate, they should not be considered weatherproof.
